2004 - Houtbay : My backyard - Karbonkelberg

What can I say, with Karbonkelberg for a backyard who will ever complain !

Karbonkelberg is a small peak forming part of the Table Mountain National Park. It forms a prominent landmark overlooking the harbor at Hout Bay.It is bordered by the Atlantic , Little Lions Heads (Klein Leeukop), Kapteins Peak and the Sentinel mountains.

Great for mountain biking and hiking. While living in Houtbay I made Karbonkelberg expeditions a regular. It was just up the road - a mere 50 meter walk.
