2007 - Helderberg: Danie Miller Hiking Trail
Anyone that’s vissited Gordon’s Bay would have seen the Gordon’s Bay anchor on the mountain. I decided to take a walk up to the landmark to get a closer look at it.
The Danie Miller Hiking Trail is an easy path that trace along the foot of the Gordon’s Bay Mountains. The walk offers great views of False Bay and the Helderberg. The trail starts from Aurora Drive to the landmark Gordon’s Bay anchor. (± 7km, 90 minute walk).
I expected more and was hoping that the trail would go to the top of the mountains but it didnt.So I made my own route accending up to the peaks with a bit of bundu bashing.
