Out of the box - Freedom Toaster


Open source, Linux, UNIX, Novell and Windows is my everyday ritual and I struggle to get hold of most of the LINUX Operating systems. If you live and work in SA you will agree that broadband is a myth in our world and downloading software of a large size takes for ever.

This is where Freedom Toaster a company empowered by the Shuttleworth Foundation comes in very handy.My quest for Linux Operating systems lead me to their site and I had to check it out myself .All that I can say is bighup and well done , they definetly think out of the box and I am already spreading the word !!!

Freedom toasters normally have 4 CD writers, touch screen operated with step by step software that helps you out. The toasting goes quick (approx 15min for 4 CD's) . Pop over to a toaster close to you and burn your flavor instantly.
